Basically it creates a new “user.ini” in this game folder “\Cyberpunk 2077\engine\config\platform\pc” and fills it withsome settings (change the volumetric fog to “True” for balanced mode or keep as is for max boost). To go back to default, delete the file. That’s all it does for “optimization.”
